Grace CheeAdjunct Assistant Professor West Los Angeles College
Grace Chee’s professional background covers both international and US policy, with a specialty in southern Africa. She currently teaches at West Los Angeles College, and has also taught history and public policy at other colleges including the University of Southern California (USC). Her research, studies abroad as well as teaching has taken her to England, France, Japan, Korea, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. Her political experience features staffing a member of Congress on local issues, managing a poverty institute, as well as representing UCLA student body as the Vice-President External on statewide education issues.Grace currently serves as President of the Korean American Democratic Committee (KADC), and a Board of Director for the Los Angeles Commission on Assaults Against Women (LACAAW). She considers herself a modern renaissance woman – she loves skiing and playing the piano in her spare time.
