Jenny Chu is a Managing Director and Financial Advisor with J.P. Morgan Securities, the wealth management division of J.P. Morgan. She works with families, corporations, and their principals and advisors, to provide guidance on a host of financial and planning issues.
Jenny’s 18 years in financial services was preceded by 11 years in the hospitality industry, where she worked when she and her daughter came here from her native Korea in 1985. Her experience working with senior financial and entertainment executives exposed her to banking and business, and she obtained a Master’s degree to pursue investment management. Her reputation for honesty, hard work, dependability and accessibility helped her leverage those relationships into her current role. She forms close, personal ties with clients, believing that she can best serve them by knowing them thoroughly. Jenny and her team create tailored wealth strategies to help meet the needs of clients they serve, implementing credit and cash management services, estate planning and investment strategies.
After working for Century Plaza Hotel, Jenny began her financial services career at Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley Smith Barney), then joined UBS (2000-2009). She transitioned to her current role at J.P. Morgan in 2009.
Jenny has a B.S. degree in pharmacology from Ewha Women’s University in Seoul, Korea, and earned an M.A. degree in international business from Cal Poly Pomona. She currently lives in Westwood. Jenny is active in Animal Rescue and also works with various Korean organizations. She is a member of both the Riviera and Mission Hills Country Clubs.
