Dong-seok MinCommission Secretary General of Korea UNESCO
Mr. Min Dong-seok is one of Republic of Korea’s highly regarded civil servants and currently serves as the Commission Secretary General of Korea for UNESCO. He graduated from South Korea’s Foreign Language University in the NOR Department. In 1993, Mr. Min was commissioned to be the First Secretary of Korea’s Embassy in Washington DC and in 2004 he became the Consul General in Houston, Texas. He then worked with the Ministry of Agriculture and in year 2006, Mr. Min was part of the Free Trade Agreement between the United States of America and the Republic of Korea regarding beef. He then became the Foreign Affairs Evaluation Team Leader and the Second Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
