NetKAL Welcomes Newest Class of Fellows to the Family

NetKAL VIII Collage

On behalf of the NetKAL Selection Committee, we are pleased to announce NetKAL VIII, our newest class of Fellows.   Please join us in congratulating and welcoming them to the NetKAL Family!

This year we received an exceptional number of highly-qualified candidates who applied for the program which made the final selection process extremely challenging! Applicants were evaluated beyond their resume and past accomplishments.  The Committee looked for individuals who would contribute positively to the group dynamics, during and after the program itself, and have demonstrated a passion for leadership and a willingness to give back to the community – a mission aligned with the USC School of Social Work where NetKAL resides.

After at least 35 hours of reviewing written applications, pre-recorded online interviews, and discussing each of the candidate’s qualifications, the Committee invited 28 candidates – thirteen male and fifteen female to join the NetKAL VIII class.

NetKAL VIII is the largest Fellow class to date and one of the most diverse in sectors including finance and investment banking, media, government, non-profit, professional services, technology, entrepreneurs, law and real estate. In addition, this is one of our most geographically diverse groups with Fellows coming from New York, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, Boston, Seattle, Atlanta, and Philadelphia.

In our effort to continuously expand the national presence of NetKAL, past class sessions have been held in different cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City and Washington, DC.  After three successful years on the West Coast, we are happy to announce that NetKAL VIII will return to the East Coast with sessions planned in the Philadelphia area and New York City.

The Committee is extremely excited to welcome such a dynamic group of individual leaders representing the NetKAL VIII class.   Please find NetKAL VIII fellows profiles from the website (
