NetKAL VIII is now accepting applications for the Class of 2014, so spread the word! The Network of Korean American Leaders (NetKAL) Fellowship Program annually selects up-and-coming Korean-American professionals with demonstrated accomplishments who are interested in gaining a solid foundation in today’s most progressive leadership practices and examining the multi-faceted role of a Korean-American leader.
With hubs in Los Angeles; New York City; Washington, DC and San Francisco, NetKAL has created a national network of Korean -American leaders from coast to coast who are passionate about learning, connecting and giving back to the community.
NetKAL began as, and continues to be, a fellowship program. NetKAL fellows are chosen as “investment recipients,” who aspire to become more influential leaders representing Korean Americans. There is a longstanding tradition in Korean culture where families and villages of lesser means scrimped to bestow resources on the most promising so that the entire community could benefit in the long-term. In this way, a NetKAL fellowship is indeed an honor, one that comes with a responsibility to give back to the community.
We encourage those interested to visit the Application page for more information, connect with fellows from previous NetKAL cohorts and encourage qualified friends, colleagues and acquaintances to apply for NetKAL VIII by October 15, 2013.
